The Penticton Farmers Market
Whether you’re a tourist or a local, the Farmers Market on Main Street is a must do! Even though I’ve only lived here for a couple months, every time I go I feel like I’m on a mini-vacation. The hours are from 9 to 1 every Saturday and its runs all summer long.
If you are looking for gifts to bring back home, doing your weekly grocery shopping (specifically veggies) or want to eat a bunch of wicked food… the Penticton farmers market has it all! They also have great deals on clothes, various artisans good and so much more!
One of the booths we checked out was serving up this wicked iced coffee from South America. I’m very picky with my coffee too and I was a big fan of this brand. They’re the only company in Canada and US to roast their beans using fire. They have their office in West Kelowna. (I’ll find out what it was and update this post!).
Strolling down the street with my coffee and a fresh fruit snow-cone and shopping is such a great way to spend a Saturday morning. Most of the local shops also set up booths outside their stores with huge sales. The Bumwrap is a great place to check out for all your beach wear and you can get some great discounts at their farmers market booth.
The farmers market is a great time for the whole family and I guarantee if you go once, you’ll go again!
